  • Founder

    Mario Bobino is a veteran filmmaker with over four decades of experience in the industry. Since founding Debonair Productions in 1989, he has produced and directed more than 100 film and video projects, building a reputation for creative excellence and community-focused storytelling.
    Born and raised in Oakland, CA, Bobino brings a deep understanding of both the technical and cultural aspects of filmmaking, making him a powerful force in youth mentorship and media education.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Shirley Sharp oversees the financial health and sustainability of the Media Arts Institute with strategic precision and care. As CFO, she ensures that budgets, grants, and donations are managed with transparency, accountability, and long-term impact in mind. Her expertise in financial planning supports the organization’s mission to remain accessible and community-driven. Shirley is deeply committed to using financial stewardship to create opportunities for young creatives.

    Greg Bobino is a founding force behind the vision of the Media Arts Institute, having co-launched the original initiative alongside Mario Bobino.     Brenden Anderson plays a key role in securing funding to support the Media Arts Institute’s programs and outreach. Brenden is passionate about bridging creativity and community impact through sustainable support.
